Well sanded is half coated - the wooden substrate
‘Well sanded is half coated’ says an old painter's adage. And why is that so? Imagine you put a handful of water on glass. The water runs off and forms thick drops. And now you throw a handful of water onto a towel - it soaks in completely. What has happened? The larger and more absorbent surface has overcome the surface tension of the water and everything bonds well together.
To achieve this effect, you can either use high-quality rough-sawn wood or you can have a compact sanding module in front of your machine to roughen the surface. Here you can see pictures and videos of use with a sanding module.

The result: a durable facade that is easier to renovate.
Good to know: Most paint manufacturers stipulate that planed wood must be sanded for the reason described. The painter on site or your own employees usually don't have time for this. And that affects the quality.
